POW-WOW - Room 114 - Class of Ms. Gallagher
KINGERGARTEN NATIVE
AMERICAN POW-WOW
We have been studying Native American culture during the month of November. We learned about The Native Americans’ respect for the land and animals, and how they lived off the land that God gave them.
A pow-wow is a celebration. Native Americans dressed up with fancy headdresses, painted their faces, and wore special meaningful clothing. They often hand made their musical instruments from wood or animal hide.
At our celebration, we made drums and shakers to create a rhythm for our dance.
I hope you enjoy our pictures!!!
