Boy Scouts Grades 6-HIGH SCHOOL
Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 690. We have been part of the St. Celestine Community for 80 years. We meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month at 6:30 pm in the school lunchroom. We welcome scouts from ages 6th grade through high school up to 18 years of age.
Please see the Boy Scout Monthly Calendar on the right sidebar of this page.
As a Troop, made of Patrols, we work on merit badges, go on outings, camping, hiking, attend scout mass and complete many service hours for St. Celestine, Elmwood Park and the greater community. We have had many scouts attain Eagle Rank over the years.
For further information about joining the troop, please contact Chris D. Soriano, St. Celestine Boy Scout – Scoutmaster at cjdsoriano@hotmail.com.
The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation’s largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations, providing programs for young people that build character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship and develops personal fitness. For more than 100 years, Boy Scouts of America has helped build future leaders by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. The Boy Scouts of America believes – and, through over a century of experience, knows – that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible and productive society.
