Our Pennies for Pumpkins Fundraiser was a huge success! – St. Celestine students voted for their favorite pumpkins and donated over $800 for our Food Pantry and for Hurricane Victims. Our winners were:

Mrs. Szeszol’s Black Cat pumpkin, designed after her cat Penny, won 1st Place.
Mrs. Sabatino’s Gumball pumpkin won 2nd Place.
Mrs. Weiner’s Get Off of My Lawn pumpkin won 3rd Place.

The teachers and instructional assistants created amazing pumpkins for the Pennies for Pumpkins project. Students brought coins to vote for their favorite pumpkins on October 27-28, 2022. Winners were announced on Halloween – October 31, 2022. All money collected was divided between our own food pantry and the Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund.
