PreK and Kindergarten Dot Mural – Year 2025-2026

We celebrated International Dot Day (September 15) with our PreK and Kindergarten students by coming together to create a beautiful Dot Mural!

Mrs. Jelinek’s Preschool 3/4 created their dots with coffee filters and markers, then sprayed them with water to watch the colors blend. Mrs. Niklewicz’s Preschool painted on bubble wrap and stamped it onto their dots, and also used toilet paper rolls to make fun circular prints. Mrs. Doyle’s Kindergarten painted their dots with tempera paints, expressing their creativity freely!

The mural is a joyful reminder of the message from The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds, which we read in Art Class prior to creating: “Just make a mark and see where it takes you.”
