Scouts Celebrate Scout Sunday at St. Mother Theodore Guerin Parish

Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venture Crew Scouts gathered for a special Mass on February 3, 2019 to celebrate Scout Sunday.

Our scout groups meet regularly at monthly Masses during the school year. This Sunday was a special Mass designated to celebrate the anniversary of scouting and its worldwide impact on youth.

Scouts have proudly been at St. Celestine for 83 years. On this anniversary month, we celebrated by chartering a new scouting group to St. Celestine’s scout family, Venture Crew.

Venture Crew is a great leadership opportunity for older scouts in high school up to 21 years old. Fr. Paul and Fr Andre presided over praying for all scouts celebrating Scout Sunday and blessed the Venture Crew’s new flag.
