Alumni – Class of 1972 40th Reunion in 2012

On Friday, October 5, St. Celestine School welcomed back a few alumni for a tour of the school building a day before their “big reunion” on Saturday, October 6, 2012.

According to Diana Bauer Scramuzzo, Class of 1972, all those in attendance had a GREAT time… so much fun! There were 35 graduates in attendance at the reunion, and a remembrance for six who passed on.

They enjoyed a private room at The Black Steer Charhouse in Elk Grove Village and the food was fabulous. One of the reunion committee members used the 8th grade graduation photo for a placemat! What a great idea, and it was a big hit.

The reunion had graduates visit from California, Indiana and Texas, as well as the surrounding Chicagoland suburbs including Midlothian and Palos Heights to Harvard and Wheeling. They really enjoyed getting together and had so much fun, they are planning on getting together more often!

St. Celestine School and Parish are thrilled that the Class of 1972 got together, share memories and have a wonderful time.
